Provider Support

Provider Services is composed of the Provider Services Contact Center, Provider Enrollment, EDI Services, and Provider Field Services units. These units serve as the information center for the provider community and answer phone and written correspondence inquiries.

The Provider Services Contact Center is the provider's primary source of communication with EDS staff concerning general Medicaid issues. Provider Contact Center Specialists are dedicated to responding professionally and accurately to provider inquiries.

Provider Enrollment assists providers who are interested in enrolling in Florida Medicaid. They handle new provider enrollment and maintain existing provider files. Provider Enrollment associates are committed to making the enrollment process as effortless and timely as possible.

The primary responsibility of Provider Field Services is to deliver provider training and assistance to Medicaid providers. Seventeen provider field representatives offer support activities including training for new providers, claims resolution, and assistance with electronic billing issues. Each field representative serves a designated area of the state.

The Agency for Health Care Administration's area Medicaid offices, in conjunction with the field services staff, offers a variety of monthly training sessions for Medicaid providers. Please visit your area’s page for training details and area-specific information.

NOTE: The secure Web Portal requires an initial configuration which includes an e-mail account. The e-mail accounts are used for important activities, such as password reset, agent notification, etc. A number of providers are experiencing problems receiving e-mails generated from EDS related to the secure Web Portal. Many organizations have instituted security software that blocks e-mail from unauthorized accounts. In order for you to receive the important e-mails generated from EDS related to your secure Web Portal account, please notify your system administrator not to block e-mail from am002238@eds.com.
